The food is really good, the kitchen knows its trade. But the ambience leaves a lot to be desired. The sober interior in the restaurant looks like something from another, long-gone time. In addition, I have seldom seen such a loveless decoration.

The home-style cooking was better. We weren't convinced last time. The helper is very attentive and nice. It also adheres to hygiene requirements in the catering trade. The boss doesn't wear mouth and nose protection, comes to the table, serves food and speaks while bending over the plate. She tries to keep her distance but is inconsistent. According to her statements, she does not wear an MNS for health reasons. We think that she is then not allowed to work on the guest. She clearly states that she only sees the MNS as protection from the service - unfortunately not also as protection for the guest. We only think the guest is the source of income in gastronomy and therefore worth protecting. There are guidelines of the country and as a restaurateur you have to adhere to them, whether you are behind them as a private person or not. The half-heartedness of the boss runs through the lack of friendliness and the fenced dog area. An area at the beer garden - formerly a small playground with a swing - is fenced in and equipped with the broken swing, broken flip-flops and dog leftovers. We were asked to let our dog run free on this area. We thankfully waived that. I don't let my dog ​​play with shoes or plastic rubbish at home and certainly not there either. The broken swing is also a source of danger for dogs. And there are certainly also guests who are not dog-loving and who do not like dogs running free running parallel to the beer garden, which is 1m high, fenced in. It gives the impression that an unkempt children's playground has simply been renamed instead of being well maintained. The fact that some dog owners unfortunately do not remove the leftovers is known from green areas and paths. Then the restaurateur has to remove these remains from the dog park. Leaving them next to the beer garden is just disgusting and shows motivation again. For various reasons, we can no longer get to Wilhelmshöhe that quickly.

Great room, finally fully working wifi (!!!) and the food is a dream! You can tell that the boss 'lives' her guest house / restaurant. My colleague and I are on the road non-stop on assemblies all over Germany and therefore think that we can allow ourselves to judge. If Butzbach, then this is THE address!

The service was very quick and attentive. The decor of the restaurant was modern, just not that cozy. Or maybe it was at my table by the passage. The rooms for the night are very modern and yet cozy. I felt very comfortable here. Everything was very clean. Only the bathroom was a bit small. There was no storage space for the toilet bag. Breakfast performance was great. Very friendly service! Fresh eggs were prepared according to our request. I found everything I needed and the wait staff really tried to start the day with satisfaction. I would love to come back here.

We always like to come to Wilhelmshöhe. Firstly, because of the beautiful view from the beer garden, especially in summer. On the other hand, the food is always fresh and tastes super delicious. It is also nice that the card is constantly being revised and new delicacies can be found on it. The waitresses are all friendly and on the 70th birthday of my husband all guests were completely satisfied.

Insider tip in Butzbach off the market square with great views of parts of the Wetterau. We had the cheeseburger. He was delicious. Service was super nice and promptly after the order came the food. First of all, a nice greeting from the kitchen, which was also very delicious.
